1. Re: Akiem Hicks

It's all good, no need to apologize lol
  2. Re: Committment from Akiem Hicks

Well, this definitely came as a surprise to me.

I think this pretty much wraps up DLine recruiting, unless a top guy wants to commit & then we make an exception.
  3. Re: Committment from Akiem Hicks

I think the same. I would say McFarland and Dye are the only takes out of the guys were are after. Cambell would be in that list if I thought we had a real shot at him.
  4. Re: Akiem Hicks

Here is the thread we had up on him.

Obviously a Wroten type pickup as I stated. And much needed.

This was a bit of a surprise. There were rumblings, but nothing that pointed to a commitment anytime soon.

    I am happy about it.
  5. Re: Akiem Hicks

I heard he was supposed to have been visiting TN this weekend but changed to us because of the coaching issues there. Thanks TN...after experiencing LSU on a big weekend, he had no choice but to commit to us. He's cancelled all future visits to other schools.
  6. Re: Akiem Hicks

We have been successful lately with JC players like Wroten and Byrd. I don't think we had that many in past years. Does anyone remember a JC that flopped for us?
  7. Re: Akiem Hicks

    Mario Stevenson
  8. Re: Committment from Akiem Hicks

Is he coming in as a Soph or Jr?
  9. Re: Committment from Akiem Hicks

    Jr.
  10. Re: Akiem Hicks

On top of his athletic skills, this shows his high level of intelligence too!

For those who care, Rivals has us as the #3 class.
