what a lame article. you can just tell he's PISSED. that article is the most driest thing EVER written in sports... ill raise the bull s h i t flag on this one.
The telling statement in that article is "You have to compliment LSU for a great performance." "have to?" "have to?!?" You "have to" compliment the team that loses for a great performance. You "have to" when you don't want to. You don't "have to" compliment an underdog that takes the nation's best player completely out of his game like never before, that out-coaches the best coach in the business, and that flat out beats the number one seed in the country. The compliments should come naturally and genuinely. You "have to" compliment them means you do it grudgingly and without sincerity. One of my college buddies is Dicky V's stock broker, and he thinks he's just the greatest guy in the world. I'll be calling him tomorrow to tell him his client is an @$$hole.
Maybe "have to" just means that the performance was so great that you can't help but compliment them, geez, lol. He didn't have to write the article, so why would he write it if he didn't mean it. Not to mention, at no point did he not give credit to LSU by saying Duke just had an off night or something like that. Everything was a compliment to LSU. Get over it people.
