1. Re: Glenn Dorsey wins Lombardi Award

    Wow!!! That's awesome.
I sure hope our Tigers bring home the crystal......:crystal:

Every time a player wins a post season award it motivates the opponent.

lets hope the awards keep coming for him through Jan 8. I would say that MVP would be a nice one... :)

    Outstanding!!! Dude is on fire!:angryfire
  5. I wonder if Lloyd & Les sat at the same table?
  6. Re: Glenn Dorsey wins Lombardi Award

I don't know about that. Go to the Heisman thread, I don't see too many people nominating Dorsey, and this is an LSU site. I myself wouldn't vote him #1 in the Heisman (the best player in the country).

But yeah, that's freaking awesome that an LSU player finally won the Lombardi Award. I love Lombardi Award winners. In my days of loving college football, some of my favorite college players have gotten the Lombardi: Steve Emtmen of Washington, Warren Sapp of Miami, Orlando Pace of the OSU (the only guy who won it twice), and Dat Nguyen of Texas A&M. But yeah, that's pretty crazy how many of the OSU players have won the Lombardi -- Stillwagon (70), Hicks (73), Spielman (87), Pace (95, 96), Hawk (05). As for the SEC, we had Cornelius Bennett of Alabama (86), Tracy Rocker of Auburn (88), David Pollack of Georgia (04), and Glenn Dorsey of LSU (07).
  7. Awesome, and well deserved. There ought to be some kind of award for playing through pain, as well.:geaux:
  8. That is great, congrats, Mr. Dorsey!
