He has been one of my favorite players since he was a freshman, I remember the first time he came into a game.

I think Nevis is a beast. But I'm not counting out Sam Montgomery as a game changer, either.

Montgomery is gonna be next fo sho. This DL is so versatile. I like the way Chavis is using them. Fresh legs all night long.

I agree but don't overlook Brockers and if Downs can stay healthy and Freak getting into the rotation, our DTs look very nice for the long haul.

how many sacks did nevis, and the team, end up with? I want to say like 6 for the team and 2 for nevis but not 100%

At least 6 for the team. They had that many at some point during the second half. Not sure if it ended like that. Sheppard had at least one, and Baker I think had one. I'd say Nevis had at least two, since I remember both Baker AND Sheppard flushing the QB right into Nevis.

I am really looking forward to what this DL can do to west virginia if Marshall could manhandle them like they did.

and I just checked the official LSU box score and yea it ended up with 6 sacks for 47 yards lost, 2 of which came from Nevis.

Correct. 1 for Mingo, 1 for Baker, and 1/2 sack for Sheppard. I don't know who had the other. Maybe Montgomery? Seems like he had one...or a TFL for sure.
