Interesting. That definitely helps to explain the previously unexplainable!

    Thanks for posting that.

I'm doing the lasik this morning (no kidding). In a day or two, I should be able to spot Red Elephant's sig picture from a half mile away. :hihi:

Lasik has issues, particularly with night vision. Why can't he just stick with contacts?

Wow. Well I fully understand. My wife had this exact same problem. She could see fine from far away, but up close and middle distances were very blurry to her. She had the surgery earlier last year. Best investment we ever made. She sees perfectly now from all distances. No more glasses or contacts.

Hope it works as well for him.

Pun intended ? I am assuming the sports contacts aren't solving his problems. Jake Delhomme had the procedure done here in Lafayette. Hopefully it works out for Bowe.

Im considering it... what are the chances of loosing my sight completely. Also, any other negatives?

My wife and I had it done in 2001 and we couldn't be happier. She had some complications when she had it done (scratch on the cornea) but that worked itself out. The night vision blurriness has faded a great deal over the years or I have just gotten used to it. The chance for complications is very tiny. But don't take my word for it. If you are serious about it, go in for a consultation. They will load you up with info.

I am 20/15 and happy to be contact free.
