I hope he can make some contributions this year. The guy has been nothing but a team player for 4 years and has a chance to step up and get some PT. He was one of the top 5 players on the team for weight gain from last year and he's up over 300 pounds.

 

plus he's a damn good auto mechanic. he changed out an alternator for a buddy of mine in like 4 minutes....

do you guys ever remember an o lineman named arflin or something that saban recruited?? it seemed like he was a big time recruit that never panned out...I think he might of been from florida?

 

Steve Arflin from Jacksonville, FL. He signed with us in 2001. I don't remember him ever playing.

For putting on weight he looks pretty lean to be a tackle.
