1. On ESPN's NFL Live, John Clayton said running back Edgerrin James is rumored to be in contact with the Saints. Personally I think he could make an impact, any thoughts?
  2. I dont think so, he seems to whine in a pass first offense.
  3. Not to mention, he's not really an inside runner. Hightower filled that role for the Cards this year.
  4. Between Bush, Thomas and James, the position would be well filled for the Saints. Just get him at the right price.
  5. i would rather tony gonzalez running up the middle.

no to edge. someone younger please.
  6. Who, that's the problem. I'm not sure who's available but I'm thinking the pickens are mighty slim.
  7. I think they need to try out Thomas for a couple of games. IMO he's highly underrated.
  8. pierre thomas 10x younger, better and cheaper.
  9. I'm definitely not saying that James is the answer. However entering his 3rd season with the Saints I'm not sure Thomas is either. One thing I am certain about is that the Saints need a feature back that can pound the middle but has the skills to break a long one also. I'm not sure that they have one on the roster or that one is now available to them. I am still happy they didn't draft Beanie the Bust. Also since the Saints have cut 2 DT's are we really set at that position? What are the saints options at this point? Who are the best available free agents at any position that the Saints could sign? How much cap room available?
