1. In the highly destructive partisan environment of current politics the voter is faced with two poor choices. While a split between Congress and the Executive Branch used to be a moderating influence on the power of either branch, today it is no longer a brake, but means a near full stop on governing.

    Alternatively, voting in super-majorities in both houses and electing a President of the same party increases the likelihood of "tyranny of the majority." I know it hasn’t always worked that way in the past, but the recent past has seen nothing like the "party over country" attitude that now infects the US of A.

    Either alternative represents another brick in the wall.

  2. Unless our useless Congress decides to vote for term limits i.e 6 years. were headed down one long road to failure as a country.

    I think that's is the only thing that could possibly save us. The system as is constructed is killing us.

    And no, I dont think they are going to vote for it.
