Optimism is great! It's like using the word Hope. As long as you keep fooling people with terms like optimism and hope you can keep the power which is really all your party wants. Go back to 1960 and tell me what demographic was at the bottom of the ladder. This group has voted 90% for one party for 50+ years based on optimism, hope, and change...yet still remains at the bottom in almost every quality of life category. Be honest...it's not about opportunity, equality, etc. It's about modern day slavery except now they only want you to perform one chore and that's to vote.

I watched some of your wonderful Democrats throwing handfuls of trash out of a car right in the middle of Canal Street a few days ago. When I pulled next to them they first denied doing it then followed up with a f-bomb tirade. I'm used to it as it's a typical day-to-day event for your party. I didn't lose my optimism. I'm just not willing to help fools any longer. Let them live in their filth. Let them murder each other. Let them remain uneducated. Let them continue to live in poverty. It's their choice and I'm not willing to bail them out any longer.

My optimism lies in the fact I can live in an area where I don't have to live with liberals and unproductive Democrats. I live in St. Tammany Parish which ranks at the top in almost every state category and is predominantly consevative. Most of our crime is a result of New Orleans residents traveling north to commit crimes. If you think this parish is doing well due to luck...think again. If you think Orleans Parish is a dump due to bad luck...think again. I just wish your party's leeches would stay in one area instead continuing to move to nice areas where they drain the resources and bring their problems & attitudes with them.

Louisiana is a great example of how total control by the Democrats is a losing proposition. Look up the history of our Governors, Senators, and Representatives and then check our quality of life categories. As low as we're ranked it's amazing how well the conservative-majority parishes are doing. I was once young, immature, uneducated, and unemployed. At that time it was easy to be recruited to the Democratic Party. I voted for people like Bill Clinton. As I gained knowledge and experience it became very clear what voting Democrat means and it's NOT good. The Republicans make MANY mistakes but at least conservatives have core values rooted in the constitution. I believe our founding fathers and those who fought to create this nation would be sick if they could witness our current administration.

Live where you want but do me a favor. Please surround yourself with your party members so you can help support their abortions, drug use, health care, unemployment, food stamps, free cell phones, housing, crime, education, affirmative action, birth control, and all the other costs associated with the lack of responsibility and personal accountability. After all...you're rich and they're entitled to what you worked for (ugh...stole as they say on the left) so give it up! DON'T WAIT ANOTHER MINUTE...WRITE YOUR CHECK TODAY. Give until the hurts...and then give a little more. Take care of YOUR people.

Here's an idea...split the country in half and split all the assets. How long would it take for the Democrat side to become a third world nation? I'm guessing the Vegas odds would be less than 10 years.

Enjoy your bitterness. Fact is that time moves forward, not backward, and essentially that is the Republican agenda: return to the 1950's. Further, your economic model has been debunked. I guess you fail to understand that it was your kind that got us into this mess. Your insistence upon passing out tax cuts and starting wars created the worst economy in the history of our country and now you want to blame the President because he hasn't been able to completely turn things around in four years. Where were your conservative voices when GWB, with the help of Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor, were ballooning our federal debt and passing additions to medicare?

I will promise you this much: I will do everything in my power, including offering my resources, to ensure that people like you never have a chance to lead our government again. I will not allow people like you to pass a social agenda that keeps women "in their place" or that gives obscene preferences to the uber wealthy. I will fight tooth and nail to ensure that the progress we've made in this country over the past hundred years isn't derailed by the hatred and ignorance of those who would have it otherwise.

Lastly, enjoy being competitive in this election while you can. As demographics change in our country and with your party alienating minorities and women every day, we will soon arrive at a point where the Republican party will no longer be nationally viable. Hopefully, they will realize this and will makes some changes to their party platform. That said, when I meet people like you I have to believe that this shift may never happen.
