As a current student at LSU this really excites me. It hurt when Emmert left for Washington because he was a great Chancellor, but I think O'Keefe is just what we need to get back on Emmert's track towards National recognition. O'Keefe's Washington ties can come in very handy at landing LSU some much needed funds especially since Blanco has already cut the state's higher education budget and will most likely continue to cut LSU's budget in order to help out many smaller insitutions, most notably ULL.
