This asshat was beat by a lunatic who spent a little more on his campaign (200,000 dollars) than Cantor spent on steakhouse visits (168,000). John Boehner blames Obama for the loss. What's sickening is that Eric Cantor spent 168,000 dollars on steakhouse dinners. That's more than most Americans make in a year. And these fucks in congress think they are underpaid. Even though the winner of this primary is no doubt a tea party lunatic, it serves Cantor right. He is a slime ball, and deserves to be the face of the biggest congressional upset of all time. Fuck you Cantor.
What I don't get is all the hoopla being made over his stepping down as the majority leader. What the he'll else is he going to do? He lost his seat so it's not like he has a damn choice right?
The other guy should lose in the general election. But then again, he should have lost against cantor.
That caught my attn too. I figured it was doing so immediately and before the other guy was sworn in but still not certain.
It was just a primary, he can't get sworn in until he wins the actual election. Unless the actual election was just 2 repubs running against each other.
