ESPN has come out with its annual recruiting list.
    Points of interest:

--as of now LSU only has 2 on the list. #125 Jarett Lee and #137 Todderick Bajoie

--Joe McKnight is listed at #21

--LSU is not listed as a school of interest for Terrance Tolliver

--Considering that this is a highly regarded crop of players coming out of LA, there are very few players from the state listed in the Top 150--only one in the top 100 and 4 overall.

--For those of you keeping count, USC has 5 commits on the list, including 2 of the top 3.

--There are 13 QB's rated higher than Jarett Lee

--Rolando Melancon is the 2nd highest rated player out of LA

ESPN is notorious for poor recruiting rankings...

Tom Lemming is no longer the recruiting "guru" up in Bristol. I'm not sure who the new guy is, but so far I'm not that big of a fan.

Yes, but Lemming was worse IMO.

I gotta think ESPN has the money to really compete with Rivals....I don't know why they don't considering the base of ESPN fans and football/basketball recruiting...

Rivals and scout have those giant networks already built, so besides money it will take getting outlets/reps from every college in the nation to buy into it and then build their own sites up in order to be profitable. I think we would more likely see ESPN try to aquire Rivals since Fox has bought scout in the past year or so.

ESPN's recruiting analysis sucks and its a shame because they are what EA is basing their rankings on...
