Q Do you see a lot of potential switches with this freshmen class?

A“To be honest with you, I don’t see that happening in this year’s class, although we may have a defensive lineman or two that may move to the offensive line. And that may take awhile to sort through. I don’t know that we have a significant number of guys that we’re looking to change around.

“I think Jacob Hester is a good back. I think the three receivers are all good receivers. Early Doucet would be a great defensive back, no doubt, but he might be a game changer on offense. We never put those guys on defense, unless we got so many on offense we can’t play them all. Xavier Carter sure would look good playing safety, but he also looks real good, running-down-the-field receiver.’’

Quite introspective...Saban doesn't often get that specific about player development like he did in describing his thoughts on the freshman. Mentioning Jacob Hester as a "back" is also interesting...

I hope that our receivers show up for the game. USC new receivers did not nor does their defense.

R. Bush saved USC yesterday but he will be on radar screen from now on.

I'm very impress with the USC QB yesterday. If there is an open, he make the other team pay for their mistake.
