Same here. If you are ever in New Orleans you have to try Lebanon's Cafe. They have some of the best Lebanese tea. Mona's is excellent too.

After geeks and lesbians I would have to say

Mexican - Tampicos \ Morgan City
Chinese - Trey Wah \ Destrehan
    Italian - Don't have a favorite

its ok, but gets gross near the end when the bread is very soggy. many people cant handle it because you typically get one huge plate for the whole table, so everyone's grubby little hands are all over your food.

    my faves:

    vietnamese---bun. cant beat it.

greek---gyros, the real ones-dont even know if you can get em in the us. not with that horrible lamb/beef chimera, but with only lamb cooked on a spit. with lettuce, tomato, lemon and tsatziki

japanese--sushi, well, nigiri--yellowfin, snapper and fatty tuna are the best. not a big fan of rolls

australian--i guess its ethnic. emu, kangaroo and pavlova are great.

what sux is that i cant get any of it (except for below avg sushi) in athens.

my neighborhood of astoria, queens is the most greek neigborhood in america. there is a greek place on every corner, and greek social clubs and greek everything. i could eat at a different greek place every day for six months. it is fantastic.

Is Willy Ray's still doing the Kobe Briskets? They were at this time last year.

Rosengarten was shipping them, old link at the bottom of the page. A phone call would work if they still do these.

We ate at India's last night. Man, they do curry about 50 ways and it's very good.
