There's a definite art. Assuming the bun is big enough, it's possible to eat it properly. If the knucklehead that makes it skimps on the bun though, you have to resort to either fingers or utensils and the magic of it is lost.

today i walked outside my apartment, and was suprised to find that my street was shut down for some street fair of some sort. it was fantastic. 2 dollar latin american fruit drinks, and funnel cakes. i haven had a funnel cake in 10 years or so. they rule. they had the fried oreos as well, which i have never seen before, but i didnt get a chance to eat.

they also had frozen watermelon on a stick, which seems pretty refreshing.

Were they good? How big of a piece is on a stick? I would think it takes about an 8" X 8" chunk to be worth it? Sounds like a great idea, but I'm not sure how I can keep the freezer from getting gunked up with melon juice.

it was a regular shish kabob stick with large forzen watermelon blocks on it. the blocks were the size of hanging dice you would put on your rearview mirror. they also had them dipped in chocolate, as well as frozen pineapple chunks on a stick. crazy ass latinos.

i didnt get to eat any frozen melons or fried oreos, because i was cash-poor at the time and didnt want to find an atm.

At one of the festivals on North Street they had a stand selling crawfish bread and sausage bread, . . . pretty tasty stuff.
