What's a stage plank?

thats the trick when the bum stages like his car is out of gas on plank road so you give him money for beer, which also makes for a good dessert as well.

If I remember correctly it is a rectangle gingerbread with icing on it

A stage plank is a large, flat, sorta gingerbread-flavored, crisp cookie. Some were iced, some plain. When I was a little shaver, they came 2 to a waxpaper package, each about 4" x 6", for a nickel. I think the ones I liked best were made by Jack's Cookies.

Minimal sweet tooth for me. Those stage planks sound good though. I can eat a lot of ice cream, and then feel sick.

Spicy pork rinds
Cheese Nips soaked in Louisiana Hot Sauce
Nachos
Nachos
French fries from virtually anywhere (they almost all have their strong qualities, even if it's just as a salt delivery device)

Nachos sound good. I forgot about those. That is still the food that tempts me most at a ball park. Hot dogs, hamburgers, nah. But the nachos always look good!
