Favorite Seafood?

    I like the whiter fish. Specifically flounder, snapper, grouper, and trout. Also fresh mullet and crab.

    Anyone that eats King Mackerel should be shipped to Guantanamo Bay.

    Oysters

    Lobster

    Crab

    Grouper

    the obvious: boiled crawfish, boiled crabs and boiled shrimp...


    not seafood but there's nothing better than good fried catfish imo.

    You really should include sheepshead, and sea cat in that mix. I would rather slither naked across broken glass than clean a mess of sheepshead, but dam their good eatin'


    I love oysters just about any way they can be served. Raw, fried, in a gumbo, etc. etc. HOWEVER
    There's a restaurant near Corpus that sells "Oysters on Ice".
    It is the single most repulsive thing I have ever seen. They bring you a mound of oysters just chilling on top of ice cubes. It literally looks like someone's half liquified brain on a platter.

    I just ate a mess of mullet caught this afternoon with grits. Damn good.

    i do too. however, i am partial to raw oysters in particular. it may have something to do with not having them readily available here, i dunno. but i could go for a couple of dozen as a bed time snack right now!
