Few redbellies

After the ball game headed to the pond with the fly rod which I haven't done in a while. Fished maybe an hour for a decent mess of red bellies

 

That's a nice mess of fish, friend. Have been following your posts and can say with all honesty and sincerity that I could eat dinner at your house any night of the week! Keep the pics coming.....love it.

 

Those are money on a hook in the river. Course, I'm sure you know that.

 

Yea but I just can't do that with em.....I prefer em more along these lines...
When I do rarely run any lines or jugs usually bait with catalpa worms

 

best tasting fish imo....love that crunchy tail
