1. The offense improved its ranking from 112th to 93rd. That's 19 spots. Another positive - Florida offense ranked 110th. !twocrystals!

  2. LSU has won 30 straight non-conference games in the regular season -- the longest streak in the nation. An ugly win is a win.
  3. There are a lot more positives than this one, but since you chose this, I'll throw something in there.

If LSU doesn't fumble so much, they have a lot more offensive plays from scrimmage. With that in mind, LSU would have been more around 50-75. This is a very attainable goal with this team, and I think they'll actually wind up in the top 50.

Positives---we got a TON of young players real game experience. And there were several bright spots.

Mathieu, Mingo, Adams, Mitch Joseph, Lamin Barrow, Josh Downs, and others. The future is bright.

  4. Miles ran the FG unit out in a timely manner after the turnover resulted in a FG attempt.
  5. We racked up 160 yards on the ground and only allowed 24 yards rushing from the other team. Since I love a good run game, the first one I find very encouraging.

We held UNC to 10 points for three quarters.

We defeated an OOC team that was ranked ahead of us.
  6. Miles actually tried to call a timeout at the end of the first half before wasting time... although i guess the fact that the ref initially ignored him kinda makes that moot though.
  7. Les didn't call a timeout after a change of possession.
  8. Only 8 teams in the nation had more sacks than the LSU defense's four and none of those 8 are in the SEC.
  9. You have talent.
  10. and probably weren't playing a ranked opponent.
