The NCAA is still driven by dollars in minor sports. With Baylor leading the Big XII by a two, GT up by a similar lead in the ACC, and the parity in the SEC, the opportunity to make big bucks is out there by keeping LSU and Tulane in different pairings. Zephyr Stadium is out of play (Z' have home games) for the Super Regional, so the only big gate venue in Louisiana is the Box.

Right now, I see the Baton Rouge regional paired with Tuscaloosa or Gainesville and New Orleans with Waco or (gulp) Lafayette!
