Believe it or not, the first bowl invitation has already been given. According to USA Today, Army will play in the Poinsettia Bowl if they win 6 games. Go Navy!!
Winning six games is a big IF for the Army team. You've got to go back to 1996 when they went 10 - 2 to find the last time they won six or more.
Actually, I thought ND had the first "standing Bowl invite"? Then again, I think the agreement is that if the Irish win 9 games, they automatically qualify for a BCS bowl--but not nec. promised which one.
