That wasn't a holding call, was it?

That may end up being the worst call of the bowl season. I saw that play live and in replay. It was a horrible call. I don't see how the linesman makes that call. The refs may have determined the outcome of the game today. That is unacceptable.

I've seen a lot of football in my days, and I've never heard a commentator go off on the officials as bad as Chris Speilman did after the offsides call on the onside kick. Yeah it was probably a bad call, but most announcers try to hide who they're pulling for better than that.

The Iowa boards are going nuts with the bad calls.

Yes, we don't need refs from C-USA or the Sunbelt doing games from the major conferences. The game is just too fast for them.

But the refs didn't block our punt for a TD and the refs didn't intercept that early pass for a TD... and the refs didn't make Tate throw high all afternoon.

If you spot a good team 14 points, you're probably going to lose.
We did........ and then we did....... Congrats to the Gators for doing what they had to do to win a game.

Personally, Iowa getting screwed does make me smile.

    Payback is a bitch
