    Isn't that traditionally called a fullback? :rolleye33:

So he's going to run lots of sneaks and QB draws?

right. BUT, the kid might have a decent arm and be able to come up with different plays in certain situations. que the RS under-utilization comments.

True, but with the loss of so many key defensive players I won't hold my breath waiting for Meyer to let a freshman open up the passing game in goal line scenarios where a turnover could kill them.

Will he say "God Bless" during interviews and cry after a loss?

Don't know if this is Burton's actual myspace page or a joke, but it has over a thousand friends and it features "God Bless," "prayer solves all problems," and a quote about how great Christ is.

Tebow was basically a FB playing QB, which is why he was so great at running the ball. As for this Burton guy, ESPN wrote: "Burton's versatility and athleticism pops off the film as a runner and dual-threat quarterback....He is built like a safety/outside linebacker."
And ESPN did classify him as an athlete recruit, not a QB recruit.

As for Rivals, they ranked Burton the #2 scrambler in the 2010 class.

As for Scout, they wrote: "Burton is dynamic as a runner with his blend of size, speed, and power."

The guy did rush for 55 TDs in high school while only throwing for 43.

Compare to what they said about Tebow as a recruit:

Rivals: "Physical enough player to also play linebacker or fullback should quarterback not work out."
    http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/football/recruiting/player-Tim-Tebow-31436

Scout: "A huge quarterback...a tremendous all-around athlete that would be being talked about at other positions if it weren't for a big league left arm."
    http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=1735241

Scout listed Tebow at 6-3, 225 as recruit and Burton 6-3, 220 as a recruit.

Interesting to note that, while Burton ran for 55 TDs as a 3-year starter in high school, Tebow ran for 63 TDs as a 3-year starter in high school... and while Burton threw for 43 TDs as a 3-year starter in high school, Tebow threw for 95 TDs as a 3-year starter in high school
