FLYNN TO WIN

    Of course Flynn did. Matt may in fact win outright the job.

    I just get a kick out of those wanting to throw JR under the bus without a shot at the job next year.

    Ok, remember 2 years ago when vincent went in and won the sec championship and sugar bowl mpvs and then the next year he was 3rd string. I'm not saying flynn isn't going to start, but he will have a battle with russell in spring ball.

    And remember win Matt Mauck won the SECCG MVP in 2001 and then led us to that National Championship in 2003:thumb:

    Yeah, but Ro started all of 01 and broke a few passing records along the way.

    This is almost an identical situation.

    No he didn't, he sat the bench for the Patriots. Mauck started the season went 5-1 and got hurt late in the Florida game. The Randall came in and finished the season.

    Damn, that last post didn't get my point across like I wanted. I meant the future is good for the Tigers at QB. Unproven backup comes into big game and proves he can play, eases the mind a little. Only difference is we get JR back so we have two guys that have shown they can win on the field.

    Great problem to have.
