Perrilloux will be the real deal! He is doing just fine in his progression and the coaches are really getting hyped up about him for next season... If it is up to Matt or Ryan this fall, it will be very interesting, but JR has a separated left shoulder? He should be fine from that right? I sure hope so! But basically to sum it up: I don't know when or where his # will be called, but when it is, RP will be the real deal: TRUST me
I thought about the RP question this morning myself. If LM lifts RP's redshirt in some stinking second-rate bowl game, he should be tarred and feathered. Much rather use an emergency QB, if necessary, than lift RP's redshirt in the damn bowl game.
Ok... before I get totally offensive here... you do have ONE thing right... it IS a second-rate bowl game... However, it's against two top ten teams, one which is Miami... I mean, come on! Bowls are technically the post season of college football. If that's the case, would he still lose the red shirt if he played? I'm not sure of the rule on that, but league play is over, so you would think RP could play in a bowl game and not lost the fifth year.
I think, based on Miles record, we won't know the extent of Russells injury until game time. He never levels with the fans about injuries.
Don't quote me on this, but if I remember right, Jesse Daniel's redshirt was burned in the '01 SEC CG, which I would think is also considered post season.
