Is it open to walk into the lobby, or is it strictly for the football players and LSU personnel? I got a tour a couple years ago over Christmas break with a family that is big in TAF, and just wondered. I'm going to be in Baton Rouge a couple days after Easter, and wanted to stop by, to see the lobby only. Anyone out there know?

I'm pretty sure the lobby is open to the public. My buddy just went there today for a Make A Wish event for his charity. He told me the lobby was open to the public and that all of the trophies were there for the public to see. I'd double check to make sure but that's what he told me.

Got to go in there and the film room for a coaches' conference... good stuff.

Very cool. I'd just like to meet Coach Miles. I painted a portrait of his son, Manny.

From wanting "to see the lobby only" to "I'd just like to meet Coach Miles" in less than a week. You move quick!

We made to to LSU after a 1200 mile drive and a near collision with a deer. The receptionist recognized Manny, and said Coach Miles would be very pleased with the painting of his son. Unfortunately, she said, Coach Miles was in "a meeting". Great being on campus for a short time.
