There is a group of guys that I work with that went to the game. They have been texting me (I was suppose to go with them but couldn't).

They said that the fans in the parking lot- near the end of the game- were throwing beer bottles, rocks, spitting, yelling, and so on. The police had to respond to the area.

I can understand the frustration. Your mascot is as ugly as sin, but I know I know- he's suppose to be, after all, he's a mountaineer. So that's all good.

But booing injured players? Even when our offense was on the field and we had an injury there were still boos. wtf? No class what so ever.

No wonder you were rejected by other conferences. I usually pull for the teams we beat but not this time. Enjoy your nothing bowl game.

The booing was classless. I hate those hillbillies. Glad we rejected them.

This. They don't deserve to be in the SEC.

Its gonna take hundreds of thousands of dollars from Morganstown city government to clean up all that chewing tobacco spit after the game lol

Ok, I understand the frustration and am in no way condoning nor saying what happened isn't true but we hear things like this about LSU fans all the time.

The shoe is now on the other foot. We shouldn't base their entire fanbase off some bad apples.

This is true, but there's no denying that the fans (and their d-bag coach) exhibited low class during the game.

We usually hear this (about our fans) when we win. So the shoe isn't on the other foot, IMO. These guys that were calling and texting me have been to SEVERAL away games over the years and all of them this year. According to them this was the worse group of sore losers they have ever seen.
I can understand booing an injury on the D because they believe we are faking it to slow down the tempo. Same thing happened in the Oregon game. But why would they boo T-Bob? I don't recall LSU (or anyone) booing an injury on the opponent's offense.

Exactly. Even the Coach was upset at the LSU players being injured. He's a d-bag and I wish we'd have hung 70 on his team. Thank God we don't have to play them yearly.

On the flip side that coach and the fans are perfect for each other. Both are classless scum.

I have never heard LSU fans boo opponents players getting hurt, ever! How can you defend them when even there coach said "this is bulls..t" about one of our players getting hurt?
