I ain't forgetting a national title by a long shot. Not as long as we are undefeated.

People need to get used to the fact that Pelini's D is very different than the complex, aggressive scheme Saban used. Our personnel were trained for the man-to-man scheme and I think some people are confused and are having a hard time executing this new style effectively. It is the 1st game, but this defense will have to force more turnovers than last year to have a chance to win. Bottom line is blank your memory of the defense the last 5 years and reload the new one.

I'm not sayin Pelini is a bad coach, but you cant argue that Saban must have been a complete D genious. With the help of Muschamp of course. But, Saban leaves LSU, first game of the New Era and there is nearly 600 yards given up by LSU. Saban goes to the lackluster Dolphins, who had a decent D last year, and just embarasses the Broncos.

News falsh scrappy - LSU didn't take ASU lightly. there was a unprecendented hurricane, killed a lot of people, destroyed many homes, people were affected, including players and coaches of LSU. these players and coaches had to restructure their lives for two weeks, including moving a game from home to a visitor's stadium 1,500 miles away. to base your opinion that usc will be the only undefeated team after they won against a bad hawaii team last w/e while LSU struggled (but won) against a good ASU team after going through hell for two weeks is a bit of a knee jerk reaction. what about Texas? they didn't show you anything? OU looks very average. give these players and coaches a break instead of looking at these games in a vacuum. you're lucky I'm not in BR, because I'd call your show if you made a comment like that and tear you a new ***hole.

    Newsflash Tuesday,

I never said LSU did take them lightly. My comment was for the person that said they'll beat Tennessee b/c they've got a game under there belts and all that. My comment was that you cant take an sec team like Tenn lightly. You cant say, were gunna beat Tenn without a question 2 weeks in advance. If you do that, you may get burned. So Friday, there will be no a**hole ripping today b/c its all a misunderstanding on your part. So, take your pills and calm down. :geauxtige

FOR THOSE WHO MISSED IT...LSU WON THE GAME 35 - 31 OVER #15 ARIZONA STATE!!! Did the defense play great, NO and the TIGERS still WON! That is the mark of a good football team. When you don't play your best but still manage to find a way to win. And oh by the way, it was a win on the road against at Top 15 opponent in our season opener. That's fantastic! I'd much prefer to try and get better with a "W" on the ledger than an "L"!

if you didn't just insinuate in that post that LSU took ASU "lightly", maybe you need to take a pill. there's gotta be some reason you brought it up? to simplify LSU's performance to those terms tells me that you don't know what you're talking about. which, frankly suprises me since you're located near BR and I understand you do a sports talk radio show.. taking a team lightly is what occurs when a team doesn't play to its potential because it feels that it can step on the field and still beat the opposing team on talent alone. these are unique circumstances and you insinuated that LSU can't take the SEC power teams lightly like it did ASU.

They have 2 weeks to prep for Tenn. Am I the only one not worried about Tenn. This ASU game will be probably the toughest game this year...1st game, away, top 15 team. they'll beat tenn.

This is what Tigerkid05 said. I was responding to him making it sound like LSU can just go in and just beat Tenn. If you have that mindset, that to me is taking someone lightly. Never once did I say LSU took ASU lightly. So dont acuse me b/c you misunderstood something. :geauxtige
