Fournette for Heisman...

The Oregon player probably isn't doing a deliberate Heisman pose. It could be that the pose on the statuette itself was chosen because it is similar to a natural football movement. If somebody would break down the tape of every game for a season thoughout high school, college and pro football you would see hundreds of freeze frame pose caught in the heat of the action.

If it was a pose, than more credit to Fournette for being able to fit it into such a great run.

I prefer to think that it was simply the true spirit of a great athlete reacting to adversity giving his all for the team. That is, we saw in real life, a glimpse of the same passion that inspired the artist who created the Heisman trophy. Perhaps, it's time to re-do the trophy --- Fournette's "pose" at the end, stretching to score the TD was great and true Heisman material.

He can bruise you with power between the tackles or beat you with speed on the edge. LF7 is a BEAST

Ed Smith, a triple threat player born in 1921 actually posed in the studio for sculptor Frank Eliscu, who had also been a high school classmate.

I guess I have too much time on my hands. It took me about 10 minutes to make that video with my phone. Also, he did not intentionally strike the pose like last year, he happened to hit it while catching his balance after jumping.

Great job. I didn't notice the Heismanesque moment while watching it live.

I actually didn't see it live. I saw someone mention it in the game thread.
