That is an absolute joke. Any ranking that doesn't have a live tiger on the top of the list as the most badass mascot ever is not even worth paying attention to.

I say like the tiger fight the bull and winner gets #1....

Any poll that ranks a freakin tree above a live Tiger, holds absolutely no water.

I thought the Aubarn eagle was named Plainsmen?

  5. Robidoux87

Robidoux87 You call that a double?

The ND leprechaun should be higher too. No matter your opinion of Irish football, a red-haired, short student growing a beard and dressing like a leprechaun is awesome.

I love his reasoning for ranking Mike the Tiger below the freaking Stanford tree...

    What a dumbass...

I can't really argue with the Buffalo being #1..... But OU#5???? I don't think so. Mike was the lowest rated live mascot and that is wrong....

How can you rank a mule, a tree, a wagon, a cereal character and some spare birds over Mike the Tiger????

I thought the Seminole shold have been ranked higher as well...

Americas Best Online has a much better list apparently compiled by someone who know the difference between a live Tiger and a guy in a Davy Crockett suit.

PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

Where are the Greeen Wave and Ragin Cajuns? ooops...they're only ranking college teams!:hihi:

At least they didn't rank that Corn-Shucker ahead of us!

This is the aubie legend. It is STRANGE. The eagle breaks free after a touchdown, flies around a bit, and DIES? If this is the tradition, shouldn't the War Eagle bird die after EVERY baubie touchdown? Or maybe they should kill it after every TD . . . sort of like a ritual killing?

    :hihi:
