Well hurt, i don't know, ill I can attest to because I was also bitten by the same type of spider, and damn near lost my foot. That type of spider necroses tissue very fast, and infection spreads even faster, so I imagine that big herm was in the same boat.
I think that if anyone got a medical redshirt after playing a "few snaps" it would have been Alley. Heck, Jason White was around for 6 years. Actually, was he given a medical redshirt?
He didn't have to take a medical, he just took his regular redshirt since he was hurt in the pre-season.
