1. Can Michigan cover the +14 against Bama? I say no.
  2. Wouldnt touch that game with a 10 foot pole lots of better plays. I think Bama beats them by 3 TD's at least. BUT there are some good values on the board.
I am not some master handicapper but I really like tonight (Thurs)
    Minn
    Wash
    Carolina

But that is for news matters only ;-)
  3. Michigan's at home, right? That's a lot of points in Ann Arbor. If its in Tuscaloosa, bet the Tide. But I'd leave it alone in AA.
  4. Mctiger, the game is in Dallas at Jerry's place -- so it's a neutral site. I'd take the 14 and Michigan. You never know what will happen in an opener.
  5. So I went 0-3 on Thursday... Meaning I truly am an idiot.,,

So take whatever I say and do the opposite..

  6. Gambling on sports is humbling sometimes isn't it?
  7. Yup, it was a lot of points scored by Appalachian state at Ann Arbor last time I recall

  8. Where do yall go to gamble for games?
  9. Thanks, Husker. On a neutral field, I say take the points, but that's only if I'm a hardcore gambler and simply can't do without having money on the game. But I'm not, so if I were playing a parlay card, I'd try to skip this game.
  10. You will seldom find value in a big game line like that.

Week 1 is always one of the toughest weeks to try and beat the book. Real teams are playing cup cakes and you just never know what to expect with the spreads so inflated. 2 that I like for Saturday are Western Mich getting 10 @ Illinois and Navy getting somewhere around 14 against the domers. Especially with Rees out for ND.

Value is WM sitting at +300 on the money line in a game that I think they just might win outright. Stay tuned.
