Was shopping for a new mattress today and as usual wearing purple and gold, when the manager of the mattress store comments on if J.R. was leaving. I told him that was the rumor I had heard as of this a.m. He said dont you guys still have 2 awsome q.b.'s to fill in? I said u better beleive...along with at least one good fresh new recruit. He was not looking forward to his gamecocks going down to the bayou in Sept. to play LSU.

He also said that the cocks would be hurting too if Syndey Rice left early like he is projected.

My encounter shocked the hell out of me today that even all the way over here and 9 months away, people are dreading having to play LSU!!!!

It's starting to feel like the late 50's and early 60's again for LSU football, and that's good.

They'd better RECOGNIZE!! I don't think most fans understand the potential we really have right now with the dam talent on our roster. (Not talking about you, in general). :thumb:

The schedule this year for the Gamecocks is tough and the game I dread the most is the LSU game. You guys are loaded from top to bottom on both sides of the ball. You have quality depth and that is somthing that SOS is still lacking. I think SOS is getting some depth built with the classes he is bringing in, but nothing like the QUALITY depth that LSU has.

Hopefully we can make a good showing, but you never know when playing in the REAL death vally.
