They aren't the Ducks, but let's get this thing started! I must say, now that I finally went down to my first home game last November, this season has a different feel for me, and I will now be jealous with every tailgate/game story I read about on here. Geaux Tigers!
Well said, I'm fired up today!!!! What's everyone's Gameday routine today? I'm gonna knock out a run this morning, head to the lake for some boating/skiing, start booze cruising about 4, bar b q, watch the Tigers then maybe catch some of the Michigan game.
I live 8 time zones ahead of BR (it will be 9 when daylight savings time ends) , which means that the game will start at 2 a.m. Sunday morning for me. And to make it worse, our work week here is Sunday through Thursday. So, I will record the game on SlingBox, get up at about 4:30 a.m., rewind the game without checking the score and watch it then. By fast forwarding through most of halftime I can still get to work at my normal time. Strange way to "tailgate". Having coffee while watching the game is a poor substitute for some bourbon and waters or Turbo Dogs. As far as jealousy, goes, I'm right there with you, Penn!
woke up early this morning.....worse than a kid on Christmas morning. had a hard time falling asleep last night too. excited to have an entire day of college football as a primer before the Tigers play at 7. Steaks are marinating, beer is cold, bought a handle of crown last night, wife has made a shit ton of sandwiches and cut them into little triangle, one bite sandwiches; several dips, crackers, chips, chocolate....everything I will need to make myself sick. Geaux Tigers!!!!!
I usually watch the TV & get on Live Chat simultaneously. Speaking of which, where is that function? I don't see it. ???
Gameday is finally here! Have to do some shopping with the wife and daughter in the afternoon. Then home in time to knock back a few beers and watch the game (and of course, comment on the Tigerfan.com game thread!).
