1. I see that some games that are on ESPN gameplan are available to view via the internet.. anyone tried this with gameplan? i know the LSU broadcast was a bust, but i would think that espn would have their sh*t together.
  2. I checked their FAQ.. it says:
"The video is encoded at 400Kbps which provides a good user experience and full-motion video in a standard-sized streaming video window. At full screen sizes the picture quality is not as high as a standard television broadcast. There can occasionally be issues with local connection speeds that are beyond ESPN's control that can cause the video to stop momentarily or require users to reconnect."

400kbps isnt too bad. If you have a good internet connection and a video-out on your computer, you could watch the games just fine this way because a tv is actually pretty low resolution anyway.
  3. I'm watching Maryland vs. FLA State right now and watched OU vs. OSU earlier. Picture quality is what you'd expect - not perfect, but easily watchable. I haven't had any connection problems at all, but I am at work (3x 45MB/s DS3s to the internet).

    But-

I watched the Troy game last week at my buddy's house. I didn't have any connection problems there either.

Be careful though - if you are in LA or Tenn, they may have the game blacked out. Not only that, but you won't be able to find out until the game starts.
  4. Why not just watch it on the boob tube? that's what I'm doin.
  5. Can't! Gameplan online is the only option with no DirectTV and no Tigervision.
  6. so anyone in LA get it online?
  7. You can't get ESPN Gameplan on your tv?
