Shortly after the game started, did anyone else hear Gary say (something like) "Spencer Ware is sick of hearing that he isn't in the same class as Trent Richardson"? He is the one saying it more than anyone else, in almost every LSU game he called. I wanted to throw a shoe at my TV.
Yes, Danielson is beyond annoying. How many times did he bring up Julio Jones? I wish they would bring back Todd Blackledge. Danielson blows. BTW, I think Ford may be the answer going forward. He seems to have better vision and can get to the outside. Ware tries to run everyone over on every play.
CBS needs more night games and better announcers. I enjoyed when RS caught the long pass which they called an interception. :hihi:
If you think about it, we rarely run Ware outside. Two different backs with two different purposes: inside vs. outside. Pretty potent combination I'd say.
What cracked me up was when ol Vernie jumped the gun and shouted ... "Intercepted" .... When Shep caught the pass from JJ. I was rolling around laughing on that one. Fricken Dupe!!
I can't stand Danielson! And he LOVES little Nicky! Verne can stay, but they absolutely need to replace Danielson. He kept showing stats from Jones & Randle from last years game in between plays! WTF! Jones is playing in the NFL!
Yeah.. Gary brought up Trent Richardson during every LSU game this year... letting everyone know that Ware is good but not as good as Richardson. Its true, but LSU's running backs were the ones who put up 150 on the ground, not Trent Richardson.
Between the Shep catch being an "interception" and the real interception call of "OH NOOOOOOO!", combined with all the CBS Saturday games of him slobbing all over TR, I would not mind if this man lost his voice and could never announce a game again.
