    Just curious.

I hope it's stock. Anyone who goes to that much trouble to stage a picture of his grill would seem to me to be too enamored with it.

I cook with both. My gas grill is connected to my house's supply of NG, very convenient. You should never under any circumstance whatsoever grill babyback ribs on anything but charcoal. Gas grill is a Member's Mark (52") from Sam's and my charcoal is a Weber from Home Depot. Oh yeah, lighter fluid should be banned for starting charcoal.

We own a gas grill and usually only grill burgers, hot dogs, steaks, and boneless chicken breast. We don't really cook bone-in chicken or ribs.

My dad has only ever used charcoal for bbqing and smoking. I'm not a big fan of smoked stuff, though.

Being a female, I have always let the guys do the grilling--and I stay in the kitchen, which of course, is my rightful place in the world. Along with bringing tirk whatever beer he would like, of course.

grilled chicken on the grill minus bones isnt grilled chicken. those are kiddie snacks.

The chicken without bones is for chicken sandwiches or fajitas, dear. You are talking to one of the few women left on earth who actually understands and appreciates the merit of bone-in chicken. I love Popeyes (twice a year), and I make incredible baked bone-in chicken with Tony's Seasoning.

And...yes...of course, I'll bring the beer.

I like those steel chimneys that will start a load of charcoal on one wadded sheet of newspaper. And then you just dump them in the grill using the trap door.
