California lawmakers pass bill to teach gay history - Yahoo! News

    Really?

I mean, you can't make it into the text books based on merits, so they need to force them to add important gay people?

So would we then go back and put who every important person in the history of Earth slept with now? I mean, it’s only fair for us straights you know…..

    What a load of crapppppppp

Next we could have people who have brown eyes history or virgins history or midget history. History in part is a list of past accomplishments of mankind. Why does it matter what your personal bedroom preferences are. This is more leftist progressive political correctness and the gay agenda of forcing acceptance through legislation and judicial ruling. I wish we could break away from the US when I hear of this. The south eastern conference states of America.

It doesn't. So, I can only assume that you have no issue with gay marriage?

You do know that we tried this already, don't you?

Where do I sign up? And by the way, isn't Roman History and Greek History kind of gay anyway?

I figured gay history would be a compilation of feats of gaydom.

You know the first to erhh..well, makes it kind of hard to describe on a family forum....but you get the drift, so to speak.

What are you afraid of hearing? That gays have always existed? What a shock!

So, Alexander the Great was openly a switch hitter, this has always been known. He is no less great for it. Attempts to censor history are always bad. If a historical figure is gay, I see no harm in noting it. The only trouble would be if they start rewriting history to suggest people are gay with no evidence.

People should be remembered for what they did, not what they were.
