I was there that day. Good luck to the Tigers in the Super Regionals this weekend.

Do the locals still adopt LSU when we make it even though its not as often?

Absolutely. We love the fact that LSU fans travel to Omaha even when their team isn't here. I've been going to games since the early 80's and I have seen LSU tailgaters every year.

I was there a couple years ago and every vendor, local, law enforcement I talked to all had great things to say about the Tiger crowd.

Ditto. Was there with my son when Katz and Krew made it a few years ago. Shoulda won it all that year, but not enough small ball in our gameplan. Damn TD Ameritrade.

Since Miami has made it, I'm expecting us to win it all this year, LOL. Seriously, we're stealing enough bases and playing enough non gorilla ball that we should be successful at TDA. Obviously, have one more to win against the Cajuns.

I got to see us beat 'Bama for the Championship which made it all that much sweeter...

It has been said that stores in Omaha now have andouille and tasso available along with the usual cajun/creole spices because many locals have caught on to jambalaya, red beans, and gumbo.

The people in Omaha were sad to see LSU play USL as they were hoping for even more great Tailgating. I know a few natives of Omaha who eventually moved down here after experiencing both the Tigers and Cajun fans at the CWS.
