Just read that Georgia declined his LOI possibly due to eligibility issues or off the field issues. Saying he may be headed JUCO route. Starting to make sense why he’s waiting to announce even though he’s committed supposedly.

Kid got a horsecrap deal ... Evans was sent home from the team hotel last month the night before the state championship for not giving up his cell phone before bed-check. Really ... They force these kids to cough up their personal property and subject them to a BED CHECK ... As a player, I might have told my coaches to get f’kd! What happened to the Honor System! Evans was previously suspended for three games for an argument with one of his high school coaches. Not enough details on this incident, but I’m hearing the kid was getting grilled for looking at LSU and Georgia ... These Texas coaches are more and more circling the wagons lately ... If there is any way to get to the truth, O can do it ... It’s not like this kid is a f’kn gangsta with criminal charges pending
Thr part of Houston here is from isn't a nice part of town, so the coaches there I'm sure have to run a tight ship. I would defer to their judgement on this one. This guy I think is toxic.
