If there weren't so very much riding on this outcome I'd absolutely agree with you, hell I still do. That doesn't change the fact that this is huge! Bigger than most of us can understand. The ones that don't will, especially if it doesn't go the right way.
The biggest issue is that we know the Dems are going to throw the election to the courts and if it goes to a 4-4 court Nancy Pelosi Et al gets to chose President Biden. We need a justice confirmed before then
The real issue is if the dems win house, senate & president out goes the Supreme Court as presently constituted. They’ve already stated that intention.....
Trump really needs to make the power play of the century here. The right nomination here prior to the election could hand him the House, Senate and Presidency. It is perfectly set up to show that the Democrats are the bigots. Grab the popcorn folks.
all they have to do is end the filibuster then with a simple majority they can add as many supremes as they want... throw in statehood for Puerto Rico and the additional 2 senators and they’ll have a permanent majority
No you dont, constitution does not stipulate number of justices. But if they do enlarge it, we are finished as a country.
