LSU has so many awesome defensive linemen. The defensive front alone is good for 8 wins. They are like Ditka. LSU defensive linemen versus a hurricane, who wins? LSU linemen and it ain't even close....

Re: Dorsey makes it official... i heard a week or so ago that he had broken his shin? in the ole miss game or something. This is the only reason he returned the same as laron did due to injury as it hurts their draft stock. if he was healthy he would be gone. as when laron surprised us and returned, I consider this to knock up our recruiting ranking to #1 if we get mcknight and tolliver even though its not looked at that way. you just cant overstate what a stroke of luck this is for LSU though maybe not for putttt. the loss of laron and jessie is far less damaging. A great secondary is directly proportional to the pass rush and dorsey is simply unblockable. double and triple teams nonstop. Tyson Jackson will be thanking GD since TJ will have a monster year and his draft stock will soar due to this. everone on our dline roster will be drafted I bet. that may include the newbies as well as highly touted as they are. still amazed at the most critical position on defense which most teams are lacking size and/or speed, LSU continues to have enough to field 2 teams and then some. This lessens the hurt from losing JR as well. this defense is going to be insane and a blast to watch. pelini would need a pretty sweet gig to leave until next year. i believe his stock will only go up after this defense sets a few records in '07.
Re: Dorsey makes it official... I am excited to see what this LB crew can do next season as well. Beckwith is a beast and will only be better. Highsmith is as steady as they come. Sanders has held down the middle well. LSU best front 7 in all of college. I don't think there is anyone close at this point.
