The BCS poll has already served it's purpose for the year, we are not 1,2,3 or 4 so it doesn't really matter where we ended up in it. They don't run the BCS poll after the bowl games.
Yeah because losing to Nevada and playing a schedule in the 60th range is more credible than losing to undefeated number 1 Auburn on the road, and Sugar Bowl bound Arkansas on the road. Give me a break.
ESPN/BCS is slowly ruining college football. Loss of traditional rivalry games, or big match-ups and a movement towards winning every week by 50 points and look pretty doing it. Blah.
I'm tellin' ya...the SEC should secede from the NCAA and set up their own championship series....a playoff system using the bowls (which are mostly in the south anyway)....keep our TV money to ourselves !! Screw the NCAA. "The South shall rise again" and all that.
