Thanks. My gawd. I thought of inviting you then figured it was too far on short notice. Lucky you didn't. Worse day crabbing ever. Barely enough to boil and they are small. Long story but still enjoyed the time with my girls.
They have been killing them in the Lake the last couple of weeks. I haven't had time to go Important thing is the time with the kids though. Glad you got to go.
I wonder what the crabs are thinking before they hit the boiling water. You ever hear a crab scream ?? "Oh heck where did my claws go ??"
No, never have. My girls are so spoiled I clean them before boiling. The claws are my fav. I have some nut crackers and utensils just for that. On another note, I'm sure everyone knows the difference tween a male and a female crab? If you look at the picture long enough it becomes kinda obvious- not that the clue really is what it sorta resembles.
I like the backfin...but I just can't bring myself to eat crab balls. While we're at it, I never knew artichokes had balls.
