1. MM, that course looks pretty sweet. I had a chance to play the breakers once down there and it was awesome although very much a "resort course".

I've gotten to where I only play bright green top flites because I find that it tends to irritate people who are serious about golf.

I am truly awful at golf because i don't have a good natural swing and I play about 4-5 times a year. Not a good combination. I am the pure definition of inconsistent. I once had 4 birdies in one round at Webb Park in BR and shot 112. No bullshit.

  2. Thats funny. I would never hit those rocks with my golf clubs
  3. man you played at the Breakers, you definitely spent some bread. They have a brunch thats 95 dollars on Sunday.
  4. It was a business trip, I didn't pay and didn't get to stay there either. My buddy also almost killed me on that course. He was driving behind me on the cart path, probably 50-100 feet and right as I was stopping, he turned to locate his ball on teh fairway. As I'm getting out of my cart, I hear him lock up the breaks. I jumped out of the cart just before he slammed into it. It was pretty wild. Fun course though.
  5. thats crazy Im surprised the stuck ups didnt put yall out.
  6. I tried to stir up some interest among the south La. forum members for a golf day during the bye week a couple of years ago. Couldn't get anything together, but would love to see it happen.

  7. I'm down, I know he isn't around anymore "unless he really was that milesthebest guy" but I'm sure SabanFan would be in. Izzy might be in, I know he SF have played a few rounds. Hell, lets get it started again.
  8. Well, the Tigers are off on Oct. 27. Could be a nice day for golf.
  9. Is that the same weekend as Kyle K's charity walk thing that he does? If so I think we are supposed to be there. May be on to something.
  10. I've seen that referenced in here before, but I don't know anything about it.
