UF soph guard taurean green against Cuse's arrogant prick gerry mcnamara in the coaches v cancer classic @ 8:15 tonight @MSG.

Looks like the gators are prepped to make some noise in the sec this year. it seems these early tests pay off come trny time. i think they take this one.

the orange (men) blew out bobby knight and the red raiders by 35 last night and it wasnt even that close. was more like 100.

wake forest and tx tech play at 6. should be good as well.

How can you fail to mention the great matchup with the #32 team in the country hosting a game tonight @ 7pm in the PMAC?

Yeah it's going to be a great year of college basketball...From the way Bama looked the first 2 games, it's going to be a long season. We have a big lineup due to no wingman. With Shelton and Winston leaving, we dont have a 2 to play on the wing. We were supposed to have Ray George (excellent 3 point shooter and defender) but he failed to make the grades...

Now we are stuck having Felix, who is more a 3 because of his height and long arms or Jonus to play the 2. Jonus is a good pure shooter but lacks ball-handling ability and is not very quick--which kills him on the defensive side of the ball. This is causing Chuck Davis to play away from the basket. That's something we dont need!!!

Smaller, quicker teams are going to use the press to exploit our lack of ball-handling ability and force us to turn the ball over--thus getting plenty of transition baskets. This is what Memphis did.

If Gottfried doesn't figure something out quick, we may be in real trouble.

BTW, I am a little more vocal in basketball than football because it's my sport. I know the game well and have played a lot. Made a stupid mistake in HS and left the team...Biggest mistake of my life. Oh well live and learn..Roll Tide!

It's too bad Winston left early for the NBA. He was pretty good for college style games but I guess not ready to make the leap.

The SEC would be alot better league this year if all the guys that left early and weren't drafted would have listened to people other than their potential agents. They had a chance to be great players at the college level but let greed and bad advice get the best of them.

Florida and Syracuse are putting on a heck of a show right now in the C v C championship game. Florida looks to be towards the top of the SEC even with losing Roberson, Lee and Walsh.
