1. Hope you guys can pull out! I will be leaving tomorrow headed for the Cotton Bowl. Take it to those "Canes! I hate "The U"!

Defense defense defense...We will be stopping somewhere in Miss for a night, and mostly to watch the Peach Bowl!

Since I wont really have internet access, I wish EVERYONE a safe and happy New Years--Yeah even MarineTiger, LSUGradin99, and all the Barners! :thumb: No drinking and driving! ALWAYS have that DD handy! Also, wish me luck in Dallas! I hear it's a crazy town!

Let's show the nation what the SEC is made of! None of the TT fans are giving the Bama D ANY credit whatsoever. "You play in the offensively challenged SEC, that's why your D is ranked". I'm hearing 55-7, 48-3, 42-10 type preditcions...I want Bama to quiet them on the field!

:geauxtige , Geaux BAMA, GO SEC!!!!!!!!!! :thumb: :thumb:

Oh and what in the hell is the deal with the tradition TT has with throwing tortillas in the air during the kickoff?! :dis: I'm going to fire back!
  2. Thanks redelephants, I also wish Bama the best of luck too, I wanna see all the SEC teams do good in their bowl games.

    :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
  3. Ditto!
  4. Thanks RE,

Yep, we can squawk all year, but in the end, we are all SEC bretheren, and I pull for ALL SEC teams against any outsiders, period.

    Roll Tide!!!

    :geauxtige
  5. Lets have the SEC win out.... :geauxtige
  6. Well, simple discretion or contraception may prevent this need altogether.:hihi:

Sorry, had to! Anyway, thanks for the kind words. I'll be pulling for the Tide for sure. I want the SEC to sweep the bowls this year. Hit TT right in their mouth!:thumb:
  7. I'm rooting for the Red Raiders cause I like Leach and his offensive system, and my cousin is a grad student there. Otherwise I'd probably be rooting for the Tahd.
  8. TT's offense is good for scoring points and winning games, but it'll never win championships. It's too "gimickie"....more so than Meyer's. Leach's offense makes it possible for your own offense to hurt your own defense.

When you score with such frequency, your defense never gets time to rest. Consequently, they give up a lot of points too.

I'm not a fan of Leach's offense. WAY too one-dimensionsal for my taste. And as much as their QB's post impressive stats, none amount much as pros because they're a product of a system that scores points. Same with their linemen. None of the TT O-linemen will be good pros because they NEVER have to run block--they just have to pass block--and even that is only for a few seconds; basically "just stand in the defender's way".

Look what happens to TT every time they face a real defense....they get shut down and can't run the ball well enough to keep the defenses honest. Sure, TT will beat some decent to good teams, but they'll never consistantly beat good to great teams with their offensive scheme.

If 'Bama doesn't get flustered right out of the gate, and manages to actually score on offense, TT will be in for a rough game.

The only saving grace for TT is that 'Bama doesn't have a very good offense. If 'Bama has to score more than 28 points to win this game, then they're not gonna.

Prediction: 'Bama feeds Darby the ball again, again, and again and controls the clock, keeping TT's offense off the field. Tide Rolls in a close one, 21-19
  9. A true LSU fan would tell this redneck gump to swerve off the road and hit a tree.............
  10. Hey, Crawfish! Swerve off the road and hit a.....OH! I'm sorry, you meant the 'BAMA redneck gump! :hihi: :thumb: :D
