Since we are talking about new tigers comings to this world.... I am in the same boat. Our second baby tiger is due on Nov 9. First one (18 month old boy was also a Fall baby) and he already watches all the tiger games (cough cough... I mean THE real Bengal tiger :eek:ldskule: games). I have tought him to raise his hands over and say touch down every time we score :hihi:.

Good to know that I may only miss the LA Tech Game.. hehe. I know the hospital has cable TV in each room :thumb: so you never know, I may not miss any.

    Geaux tigers..

Congrats. Its a very exciting time.

Now take some very good advice from me. Go buy this BOOK!
"The Expectant Father: Facts, Tips, and Advice for Dads-to-Be," Brott, Armin A. There is no better book to guide a first time dad through the perils and pitfalls of his wife's first pregnancy. The book is spot on when it comes to knowing what will happen next with your wife. It provides everything you need to know on a month-by-month basis.

Trust me, you NEED this book.:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I agree and I had to hear that speech multiple times. The harder it is on her, the harder the backslap to Daddy.

BTW, we are planning on another one after graduate school. Conception T-minus 380 days.

We are praying for a Boy this time. 2 daughters are a handful and my wife wants a future Tiger.

I've often heard it said that if the guy had to carry/deliver ONE, there'd be no more.

Aint' that the truth! Seems like yesterday we were bringing them home from the hospital, now one is already 12 and daddy's jokes aren't funny anymore. :hihi:

They do step on your heart sometimes.

AB, I don't know if your wife is planning on nursing or not but My wife weighs less than she did before the pregnancy and she says it's because of nursing. May want to pass that along to her. Plus it's good for the BeBe.

Truer words were never spoken--with one addition. I never before even thought about what would happen if I died, but after becoming a mother, I was terrified with the thought of not being around to actually raise my daughters.

On the flip side, I now understand what people always say about wanting to go before your children. I could deal with anyone else's death in my life, though they would hurt, but I honestly wonder if I could cope if one of my daughters died. I pray daily for the VaTech parents with the hope it will help lift them up.
