I'm in the Baton Rouge area and I have a really bad feeling in my gut that the power is going to go out right around kickoff... I hate storms. We get all the bad stuff the Gulf has to offer and none of the benefits! We got a raw-a$$ deal! Oh, yeah...Geaux Tigers!
My power went out twice last night and there was only rain with no wind at all. But we are prepared. I have my generator standing by in the garage with gas and oil and heavy duty, all-weather extension cord. Now I have to move my gas grill from the patio to the screened porch in front, because it looks like heavy rain all day and night and I have dead chickens to grill.
I have a house full of people and I'm never on-line during a game, but somebody always starts one. It could be you.
Last year it was like a Twitter feed. It wasn't like the normal board. I wish I knew how to start shizt like that.
I am in the electric distribution business so even if it's not my electricity I still have to go out. I hope my system holds up.:geaux:
I hear you. I'm on call all weekend. That sux. Today is like a major holiday so I'm hoping I won't get called out.
Home alone, clear skies, my digital cable and surround sound are now installed. I can scream at the tv as much and as loud as I want.:geaux:
I gotta go get the generator for myself and my grandmothers generator ready for her too. Mawmaw doesn't miss her tigers. She just turned 80. She has as much lsu fire as anyone less than half her age.
