1. Ok Tigers, we Love us some Rashard, we love us some Devin the Dude, and Greedy. But hear me out for a sec. When Grant left the game last night, LA Tech immediately started moving the football down the field on each possession. It didn’t help that Lawerence went out after. But the defensive backfield suffered immensely with Delpit out. He is the man back there and is so versatile. He is the first legit LSU safety that can blitz, tackle, stop the run, and cover. I haven’t seen a safety play like this since Chad Jones. Devin may be the defensive mvp because of his play, but it’s the things you don’t see Grant Delpit do that make him the unsung hero of this defense.

Make some room Laron, Mark, Eric, Chad, Jamal.... Grant Delpit deserves a place at your table.

  2. Delpit does a great job of getting to the ball. He reminds me a little of Matthieu, always being near the ball. He is a huge part of this defense.
  3. I think you stumbled on to something. ;)
  4. Orgeron was quoted a week ago saying he hasn’t coached a player like Grant since Troy Polamalu. Holy shit.....
  5. I wonder if he is related to the people who own Joe Delpits Chicken Shack. The place with knuckle suckin' good chicken.
  6. Good point. Clearly he was missed.
  7. Knuckle suckin' sounds pornographic

  8. There was one ond Highland Road near LSU wben I was in school. I used to get the popcorn shrimp all the time. There is still one on North Acadian Thruway right past Florida St. Chicken is way better than Popeyes or Churches.

  10. What was his injury? It looked like he was holding his wrist when he left the field.
